Live from London: British birds

February 7, 2011

LONDON — Current Instincts co-founder Susan Torres is currently on holiday in London, England — but that doesn’t mean she’s not thinking about animals 24/7. Quite the opposite actually.

When she’s not busy drinking tea with the Queen or teasing the royal guards, Susan’s searching for British animals to photograph. Here’s her first pic:

British birds.

British birds via international text.

Yup — your eyes are not deceiving you. Those are REAL British pigeons and real … well, we have no idea what those tall guys are. Some sort of geese? (Clearly we at Current Instincts need to brush up on our bird knowledge…)

Can any of our readers help us out? Also — are there any other animals you’d like Susan to take pictures of while she’s across the pond?

How about a pink elephant with golden spots? It was my favorite childhood book and thought maybe they had them in England?

I think the orange beak and legs mean it’s a Greylag goose, they had some on a lake near where I used to live.
But I could be wrong, I’m no expert!
