This week’s animal pictures: Bon appetit!

January 27, 2011

Like most wild creatures, we here at Current Instincts LOVE to eat. So as an ode to our ever rumbling bellies, this week’s pictures feature some of the animals we’ve written about — and as —  enjoying a nosh. Nom nom.

The Tiger

A wild tiger is on a mission to find God. Not really. He’s on a mission to find a lady tiger and have lots and lots of little tigers. With all that procreating, he’ll probably be hungry — A LOT.  ROAARARRRRRRRRRRRRR. (Sorry — we couldn’t resist doing a tiger-eating-meat impression.)

The Octopus

We never expected to find an image of an octopus eating, but alas, the internet is a wonderful place where dreams do come true.  So feast your eyes on a veined octopus eating a crab. Let’s hope that Paul — the World Cup octopus who recently had a memorial statue made in his honor — had something equally as delicious for his last meal.

The Panda

Take THAT China! We’re not letting you take our pandas away because they’re super awesome and we love them. And they’re OURS.

The Monkey

A wild monkey in Japan went on a two month biting rampage — hurting 120 people. Perhaps she wasn’t fortunate enough to have a shitload of apples at her disposal like these guys. (Or maybe she just likes blood.)

The Pig

Babe is potentially one of the greatest animal movies of all time. Seriously, who could resist an adorable talking piglet?!

I love the tiger photo. I’m a veggie so it doesn’t look too tasty to me but he seems to be loving it. Ummmmmmm, nom nom nom.

Yeah I’m more into what the panda and monkeys are chomping on but he just looks like he’s enjoying it so much!
